Adventures in Legoland

The beginning of a very long fun filled day!

Lego Bob...and apparently a plane overhead as well.

As Carter would say..."this is wear my daddy went"
The lego structures here were beyond words...I opted not to bore you
with them all, but they really were amazing works of art or perhaps play
depending on how you look at it I guess.

I zoomed in on this one just for you Tiff.

And...to Carter's delight...the "REAL" Bob the Builder!

Just tall enough to ride this fun water ride with mom.

Pilot and co-pilot..."rodger dodger"

"To the conquest of Legoland!"

This water area was a highlight for Mc...here he is in control of
the water that is falling on his head, but he hasn't quite figured that
out at this point...

...nope, still not gettin' it.

Taking a break in a nice little swing over the water.

Ahhhh...shark attack...but I think think
these victims were having too much
fun to be scared at all!

Thumbs up Legoland...I had a blast and can't wait to go back.

Thanks Legoland...today was great, but I am outta here! (oh...
and yes that volvo behind me is all legos...wow! huh?)

STAY TUNED FOR THE UPCOMING
ADVENTURES OF SEA WORLD!

Family Filled Fun Adventures

At the end of July we finally made the trek to San Diego for Carter's long awaited Christmas
present from Papa Bert...a trip to to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World...and of course
Mom and Dad had to through in a trip to Legoland...I mean
after all we were in the area. We had a great time, but none of it would have
been possible with out my amazing grandma (she was a real
trooper, not missing a beat of the excitement and
always helping with the boys) and oh...dad too!
We took a ba-zillion pictures but here are a few of my favorites.

Letting the boys get some energy out after arriving at our hotel!

DAY 1 @ THE ZOO!...holy hippo!

McLane enjoying some well deserved time
outside of his stroller!

My little giraffe!

Back in the stroller, but such a trooper!

Here Are a Few of the Great Animal Pics...

Okay...Day 2 @ Legoland is coming soon
(McLane needs a bath...duty calls)

Celebrating the 4th!

As usual Jason had to work the 4th, so the kids and I
went over to the Andersons' for some
good wholesome family fun!

After making my fourth of July dessert, we
headed out for...

some good fun...

good food...

and great family!

...oh and some funny looking fireworks!

Carter's 4th Birthday Party Part Deux

So, after the kids had their fun, Carter was able
to invite friends and family of a "matured" age over on the
evening of his actual birthday...and...once again he was spoiled
by everyone's love and generosity!

Blowing out his BIG 4 candle!

A new Red Rider BB gun from Papa Bert...oh boy!

And this is only the beginning.

Using Carter's new fishing net, we caught the big
one for sure!

Carter's 4th Birthday Part 1

For the BIG number 4 Carter invited friends to go bowling.
The kids were great and had a really good time showing
their skills...hehe.

Crazy kids...Owen, Carter, Kambria, Kemp

Here ya go...watch and learn my friends...
watch and learn!

As you can see the bumpers allowed for some amazing scores
(each kid was able to play twice).

Pizza Time!

Happy Birthday Cheese Ball...mom and dad love you very much!

Life's A Beach

So for the big Memorial Day Holiday we had no major
plans, plus Jason was going to have to work over time on Monday....so with that
in mind he requested Friday off so that we could take the boys over to the
coast for the day. As the weekend approached he assured me he did in fact get the day off, so I then requested my one personal day off that I get for the year...AND FOR WHAT YOU ASK??
For my husband to call me on Wednesday from work to tell me that his request for Friday was DENIED!...I could have killed him...killed his superior officers...and anybody else who wanted to try and rationalize to me why he may not have got the day off. So, on my one personal day a year I just hung out and did a lot of nothing too special and we delayed our beach trip until Sunday...so here are few picks of the fam, the sky was gorgeous, but the wind was seriously freezing.

Technically McLane had already seen the pacific ocean from our Aug. 08'
Hawaii trip, however I am not sure at 5months he recalls to much of what it was like. Hopefully these memories will last a bit longer!

Carter just taking the freedom in!

And...McLane following right behind.

Oh...and what is this I see?? Water, you say!

Not so fast tough guy!

Damn it!

I am not sure what this face is, maybe he is throwing
gang signs, not really sure.

A little rock climbing with dad.

"Hey mom, check me out!"

"What do ya say brother, time for
a little diggin'?"

Diggin' it is...family style.

And what is better than creating...DESTROYING!

...unless you approach destruction with your face instead
of your hand or foot.

After some ice cream and warm clam chowder the boys
had to call it a day...

...sleep tight my lil' angels!
